It’s been a month of building excitement at Visual Print and Design HQ - and it shows no signs of slowing down as we make it onto yet another shortlist, this time as finalists in the Insider Media ‘Midlands Young Professionals Awards’.
You may have heard the good news that we’ve made it onto the shortlist for two sought-after titles at the Independent Printing Industry Association (IPIA) Recognising Excellence Awards 2023. Well, we’re thrilled to announce that our very own Saffron Hartley has made it a shortlist hat-trick!
Our Customer Service Assistant Saffron has been confirmed as a finalist for the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award. Other nominees at the first-ever ‘Midlands Young Professionals Awards’ include young talent from well-known companies such as Cooper Parry, Barclays Bank and Virgin Money.
While her apprenticeship came to an end in October, she’s not going anywhere; she’s staying on full-time with the team and going from strength to strength.
Graham Hunstone, managing director of Visual Print & Design said: “Saffron made an instant impression on the team here at Visual Print and Design with her positivity, her passion and her endless energy.
“This is a fantastic accolade for Saffron and we’re thrilled that her hard work has been recognised on a regional level - especially against such hard-hitters from the business community. Feedback from our team and our growing list of clients has been consistently fantastic, especially with how technical some elements of the job can be.
“She’s proven to be as eager to learn and deliver as she is energetic - which is saying something! We wish her the best of luck at the awards later this month, but whether she brings home the prize or not, she’s a bona fide winner to us!”
The Insider Media’s ‘Midlands Young Professionals Awards’ will take place on Thursday 7th December at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham. We’ll be there to cheer Saffron on and we hope you’ll show her some love too!
