Visual Print and Design chooses Jerry Green Dog Rescue for their December charity

As the festive season approaches, Visual Print and Design are happy to share our continued tradition of giving back. This December, we are helping Jerry Green Dog Rescue, an incredible organisation that works tirelessly to provide care, treatment, attention, and love to every dog that enters their centres.

About Jerry Green Dog Rescue

Jerry Green Dog Rescue has three rehoming centres located in North Lincolnshire, South Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire. Since they opened in 1961, they have helped families provide their much-loved pets with the essentials, as well as assist more than 44,000 dogs in these centres.

Facts and Figures

Support can go a long way in making a significant impact on the lives of rescue dogs at Jerry Green’s. Here are some facts and figures to shed light on how the money Jerry Green Dog Rescue collect from generous donations and fundraising activities is used:

1. £50 a day per centre provides heat and light, keeping the kennels cosy and allowing their staff to care for their dogs.
2. £111 a day supports an experienced trainer in helping anxious rescue dogs blossom, getting them ready to find their forever homes.
3. £25 provides a nutritious, consistent diet for a rescue dog for an entire month.
4. £15 ensures a welfare groom, relieving discomfort for dogs whose coats may have been neglected.
5. Just £2 can provide a hearty meal for a dog in need.
6. £5 treats a rescue dog to an enriching off-site walk, helping them build confidence and explore new sights and smells.
7. £20 contributes to supporting families in our communities, assisting with food costs, veterinary treatments, and training support during challenging times.

What Visual Print and Design are doing to help

Each year Visual Print and Design donates 5% of their profits to a charity, this year is no different. We have a soft spot for our four-legged friends, so helping dogs that have often come from difficult situations and need a second chance at life, was a no-brainer for us.

Along with our 5% donation, some of our Visual Print and Design staff are taking part in the Lincoln Santa Fun Run & Walk on Sunday 17^th December to raise even more donations.
