Each year, Visual Print and Design pick a charity to support throughout December with 5% of profits from that month going to the charity.
From running a poll internally, our team have picked ‘Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance’ as our chosen charity for 2022.
The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is one of the UK’s leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) Charities, funded purely by the generosity of people. At a time when every second counts, the arrival of their iconic yellow helicopter really can mean the difference between life and death. They transport the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious of illnesses and devastating injuries, providing the best possible treatment as quickly as possible.
As a Charity, they need to raise approximately £ 7.4 million a year to fund their 24-hour operations and we are delighted that we can support them.
As well as this, members of our team will be running (definitely walking!) the Santa Fun Run in Lincoln on the 18th of December - you can donate to our efforts here.
With times being particularly difficult this time of year, we have set up a ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ within our office that will be donated to YMCA Lincolnshire’s Christmas Giving Campaign.
Every year at Christmas, YMCA Lincolnshire help ensure vulnerable families and people experiencing homelessness have a great time, during a period of the year which can often feel stressful and high-pressure, by providing gifts, food and essentials to the people who are most in need.
By taking part in the Christmas Giving Campaign, our team will be collecting warm clothing, toiletries, toys and non-perishable food at our office in Lincoln.
If you would like to contribute, you simply need to drop off the items to us by the 16th of December.
