Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire

Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire was established over 60 years and they currently support over 4000 older people per week, offering vital support services and opportunities for social engagement and interaction. A registered charity, Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire actively campaign and fundraise to end loneliness and isolation, ensuring older peoples voices are heard locally and nationally, and are constantly working to improve the lives of older people.

Melanie Meik from Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire was introduced to the services of Visual Print and Design after meeting Graham Hunstone at a networking event. Being a charity and needing to be cost-conscious whenever possible, Melanie had always been tempted to use online print providers but has found using Visual Print and Design to be cost-effective for various branding requirements including posters and business cards as well as the design and print of their yearly annual report calendar.

Since 2018, Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire have commissioned the team at Visual Print and Design to design and print their annual report calendar, highly praising the Graphic Designers on their ability to make the report creative, clean and crisp and without much guidance. Even when there was a slight communication issue, the Visual Print and Design did all they could to ensure that the print deadlines were met and there no delays in the report being presented at the board meeting.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Visual Print and Design even went above and beyond for Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire by donating their time and services to print some essential items for the meal delivery service that catered for people aged over 65. Visual Print and Design were also called upon by the team at Age UK to offer a range of social distancing items to enable their staff to be out on the front line working safely and efficiently including branded microfiber towels, posters and floor tape.
