Newark Showground

Dating back to 1799, Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society (NNAS) is a registered charity dedicated to supporting agriculture throughout Nottinghamshire and beyond.

Newark Showground is owned by the NNAS and has developed the showground over the years to become a premier events destination in the East Midlands hosting over 500 events a year. The commercial revenue from the Showground is used by the NNAS to fund its charitable objectives.

With several events happening throughout the year (Nottinghamshire County Show, Newark Vintage Tractor Show and the Midlands Machinery Show), Newark Showground has a high demand for printed goods including:

  • Leaflets
  • Roller Banners
  • Stickers
  • Membership Cards
  • Tickets
  • Programme
  • Annual Reports
  • Vinyl Banners
  • Certificates
  • Correx Boards
  • Folders
  • Hand Sanitizers
  • Flags

At Visual Print and Design, we help the Newark team create designs that fit their specific needs and aid them throughout the printing process.

One of our favourite designs that we created for Newark Showground has to be from the Newark Vintage Heritage and Tractor Show. The show was in need of a revamp to attract new visitors and the new design highlights aspects from yesteryear using classic typography settings, giving the A4 booklet a nostalgic feeling. All of these little elements work synonymously with the theme of the exhibit and our friends at the grounds were very happy with the final product (along with the exhibitors!)

Visual Print and Design are delighted to be able to support Newark Showground with various design and print requirements and we look forward to continuing our work with them in the future.
