Buckinghamshire Council

Buckinghamshire Council is a new unitary local authority in England formed in April 2020 by combining Buckinghamshire County Council with the Districts of South Bucks, Chiltern, Wycombe and Aylesbury Vale.

In May 2017, Visual Print and Design were accepted onto the Council’s framework for a variety of print and design services, becoming one of their trusted print suppliers. We supply them everything from business cards, leaflets, brochures, roller banners, poster and outdoor banners as well as promotional merchandise including over 12,000 lanyards!

The formation of Buckinghamshire Council meant the need for a complete rebrand and Visual Print and Design was awarded a six-figure contract to manage the production and installation of signage for many sites throughout Buckinghamshire.

Working with our trusted signage partner, we were able to offer a bespoke signage manufacturing and installation service to best suit their requirements, ensuring that we met their objectives to roll out the rebrand across 53 sites in Buckinghamshire and to help make any visit to their premises more enjoyable.

Approaching this kind of project, we managed the whole process, including:

• Attending project meetings with the team at Buckinghamshire Council
• Putting together a comprehensive schedule plan
• Liaising with our trusted 3rd party signage provider
• Attending site visits with the installation team (including staying overnight)
• Contacting employees from each department of the council to arrange site visits and risk assessment
• Getting approval of artwork from the client and supplying the signage provider with the artwork in the appropriate format
• Organising installation dates to minimise costs and carbon footprint
• Ensuring client satisfaction and communication through the project.
